STEP 1: Prep/Pre-Care
Clean Your Surface
You definitely want a clean surface, and it’s very important. Whatever you apply Superclear SuperSeal over will be sealed into the surface. If it’s a ton of dirt or a bunch of leaves, those areas will be weak points in the overall seal and can cause spotted failure.
- Pressure wash the surface thoroughly to remove dirt, stains or mold and mildew.
- If you don’t have a pressure washer, that’s okay! While it’s not the most ideal way of cleaning a surface, it still works great! Get a cheap scrub brush (preferably with a handle) and wet down the area. Then scrub and rinse!
- No matter the surface, whether stone or concrete, you want it cleaned of any dirt, mildew, mold or grime to get the best seal money can buy! Let it dry completely—this is critical. A damp surface can block the sealer from bonding correctly.
- Drying time: 3-6 hours depending on weather.
It is important to note, you absolutely can apply an undiluted single coat. Will it look great? For sure! Will it still have the all weather protection? Sure! Will it still last as long? Well, not exactly. Our recommended 2-Step process ensures you max out your substrate penetration, which reinforces the top seal layer for a longer lasting durable seal!
STEP 2: First Coat
Sealing Travertine and Natural Stone
• Mix 50% SuperSeal + 50% water.
• For stone, use a roller and apply a thin, even coat. For concrete, use a sprayer.
• While this is a non-toxic product, protect/cover any area you do not want to spray with product, as a semi-gloss-like shine can coat it.
• This is a key step that allows the water to become the vehicle that carries our acrylic cross linking sealer deep into the substrate, and is what helps this product last longer than a competitor’s. Let it penetrate and dry for 1–2 hours.
Sealing Concrete and Pavers
• Mix 50% SuperSeal + 50% water.
• Load your sprayer and use a fan tip for even coverage.
• While this is a non-toxic product, protect/cover any area you do not want to cover.
• Avoid puddles—apply in consistent, overlapping passes. Let dry 1–2 hours.
• Since all surfaces aren’t the same, you might have some puddling. That’s okay! Just backroll the excess with a dry roller, but make sure the surface is still wet. If this step is not done, the puddled material may dry white and not clear.
STEP 3: Second Coat
Sealing Travertine and Natural Stone (Natural Satin Finish)
• Mix 50% SuperSeal + 50% water.
• For stone, use a roller and apply a thin, even coat. For concrete, use a sprayer.

• This is a key step that allows the water to become the vehicle that carries our acrylic cross linking sealer deep into the substrate, and is what helps this product last longer than a competitor’s. Let it penetrate and dry for 1–2 hours.
For Concrete and Pavers (Gloss Finish)
• Mix 50% SuperSeal + 50% water.
• Load your sprayer and use a fan tip for even coverage.
• While this is a non-toxic product, protect/cover any area you do not want to cover.
• Avoid puddles—apply in consistent, overlapping passes. Let dry 1–2 hours.
• Since all surfaces aren’t the same, you might have some puddling. That’s okay! Just backroll the excess with a dry roller, but make sure the surface is still wet. If this step is not done, the puddled material may dry white and not clear.
